Member Fly Fishing Tuition

Fly fishing tuition available to members at New Platt

To help new members get started or to improve their fly-fishing skills and so maximise the value of their membership, we’ve partnered with a highly qualified instructor to provide tuition at New Platt. Existing members are also welcome to access this tuition.

Instructor: Ian Griffin

Company: Cheshire Fly Fishing

Website: https://www.cheshireflyfishing.com

Telephone: 07760 884450

Ian holds the Advanced  Professional Game Angling Instructors Certificate (APGAI) & Game Angling Instructors Certificate (GAIC) in Single Handed (Trout) & Game Angling Instructors Certificate Double Handed (Salmon) casting. Ian is fully insured, is a qualified first aider and also has an enhanced CRB check.

Structure

We’ve agreed the two following options with Ian.

  • Member Individual Tuition – 3 hour session at New Platt on south bank or casting platform depending on wind conditions £90
  • Member Group of Two Tuition – Two members for 3 hours at New Platt on south bank or casting platform depending on wind conditions £75pp (£150 per session)

Process

Please contact Ian directly to arrange tuition and quote the Code CFF so that Ian knows you are a New Platt member.

Subject to demand, Ian will endeavour to group members for cost effectiveness where possible, unless individual tuition is specified.

We hope that by encouraging group of two lessons it will help facilitate member engagement and mutual support, as well as reduce cost.

Club Rules with regard to above

  • Tuition is only from the bank or casting platforms
  • These commercial agreements are between the member(s) and Ian
